It’s cold and the sky is gray and white. If I had taken these last weekend or even yesterday, it would have been sunny with a blue sky. I wanted to capture the Fall colors and I think I did that even though half the leaves have already fallen.
I also scattered petals on the graves from the All Saints’ Day flowers from church from last week.

Tis the day before Palm Sunday, a sunny, cool, beautiful day. After finding the family grave of a friend, I cleaned up the flowers on Abby’s grave I had put there on March 22nd, the 20th anniversary of her death. The little shoes were still there. I decided to take them home with me and clean them up to place again at the cemetery.
I took photos of some of the statues, predominantly angels, saints and crosses. I also went to the flower garden where the tulips were blooming. They haven’t mulched yet but I know the staff will have it all decked out next weekend for Easter. The Lexington Cemetery is truly a beautiful, peaceful place!
